Child Watch Assistant (Part-time) for ASYMCA’s Teddy's Child Watch – Fort Wainwright – Bassett Army Hospital:

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, Deputy Director, and the Teddy Child Watch Program Coordinator, the Part-time Teddy Child Watch Assistant will help provide the Teddy Child Watch child care program at Bassett Army Hospital at Fort Wainwright. Will ensure safety of children ages 6 months to 12 years of age that are left at the Teddy’s Child Watch while their parents are attending their own or a sick sibling’s medical appointment.
Qualifications for this position are: · Work experience with children mandatory. · Experience in preparing and developing age appropriate activities.
· Must be customer service oriented with good phone and interpersonal skills. · Must have a valid Alaska Driver’s License. · Must have a clean driving abstract. · Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Must complete CPR/First Aid Training and Hospital Orientation · Requires heavy lifting up to 25 pounds. · Must be able to pass a background check.
Starting hourly rate: $8.50/hour
