I was born in Mt. Kisco, New York, however I feel like a lifelong Alaskan since coming to Alaska in 1965 with my parents.
I started my career as a helicopter pilot with a tour of duty in Vietnam for 18 months. While over in Vietnam, I kept in touch with a girl, Teri I met before leaving for tour. Upon my return, we married and I started flying helicopters for ERA.
Once Teri and I decided to have children, I quit flying and went to school as an air traffic controller. During this time, We were blessed with two children, Justin and Crystal.
