The annual Mother & Son Outdoor Adventure is an excellent opportunity for mothers and sons to spend
quality time together enjoying a variety of hands-on, physically active games
and activities that appeal to boys of all ages. The event is held during the summer
months, rain or shine.
Anchorage Event
The 3rd Annual Mother & Son Outdoor Adventure (for military families with son(s) 3 years and older) was held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 for families at Cottonwood Park. This year's theme was an Indiana Jones-style "Search for the Tomb of J-Bear."
Fairbanks Event
The inaugural Mother & Son Outdoor Adventure (for
military families with son(s) 3 years and older) was held on
Saturday, August 20, 2011 for families in the Interior. The event was held at Pioneer Park and the theme was a Good Old Fashioned American Picnic. Pictures coming soon!
