Our Annual Salute to the Military
is a grand event that promotes awareness of military performance and
service through the combined efforts of the Armed Services YMCA of
Alaska and the Anchorage community.
Every year twelve junior
enlisted members representing each of the active duty
branches, National Guard and Reserves, are recognized for their
outstanding achievements.

Recognizing 12 Outstanding Junior Enlisted Service Personnel of the Year, both active and reserve, representing all branches of service in Alaska.
