Mari Jo Imig was brought to Alaska by the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel. She worked as the Director of Catering from 1997 - 2004. During that time Mari Jo served on several committees and on the Board of Management for the Armed Services YMCA of Alaska.
In 2002 Mari Jo was selected as the Food & Beverage Manager of the year by Stars of the Industry.
In January 2005 she was hired as the Deputy Director of the ASYMCA of Alaska. In April 2007 she received the Commanders Award for Public Service from the Department of the Army.
In July 2010 Mari Jo took over as Executive Director of the ASYMCA of Alaska. She still serves on many committees and continues to oversee more than 30 plus programs and services provided by the ASYMCA for all branches of the Service, all over Alaska.
