Operation Hero is specifically aimed at children grades 2 through 6 who are having difficulty adjusting to school on an academic and/or peer level, often associated with arriving to a new duty station, deployment of a parent or other challenges of highly demanding military lifestyles. Subjects include conflict resolution, anger management, self-esteem building exercises and homework assistance.
